What to send for a quote
Copy this list into your email, or use the button to start one. PERS offers pickup and delivery by arrangement (how pickup works). Please don’t take equipment apart to get a quote.
About the equipment
- Equipment. What it is (motor, generator, pump, fan, transformer, vehicle part) and what it drives.
- Nameplate details. Power (HP or kW), speed (RPM), voltage and phase. The nameplate is the plate or label on the machine that lists its ratings. You can also attach a photo of it in your email app.
- What is happening. The symptoms, and when they started.
- Bearing or seal numbers. Only if you already know them. You don’t need them to ask.
Pickup and delivery
- Pickup, delivery, both, or not required. Whether you would like PERS to collect the equipment, return it, both, or neither.
- Pickup and return-delivery locations. Where the equipment is now, and where it should go back to.
- Approximate dimensions and weight. If known.
- Access restrictions. For example stairs, narrow doorways, gate hours or site permits.
- Loading or lifting assistance needed. Say whether you need help loading or lifting. This is subject to confirmation.
- Preferred schedule. Subject to availability.
How to reach you
- Company, contact person and phone number. So the shop can reach you.

If equipment is faulty now
Switch it off and keep it disconnected from the power supply. If a breaker or overload keeps tripping, don’t keep resetting it. Only a qualified person should open terminal boxes or covers. See the safety page for more.
