The work
Most of the work is rewinding. When the copper windings in a motor, generator or transformer burn out or wear, the shop replaces them. PERS also repairs car electrical systems, such as wiring, alternators and starters.
The owner
The owner, Pio C. Prado Jr., leads the shop and has nearly five decades of hands-on experience in rewinding and electrical repair. That experience began before the shop was established in 1994.
